Geography again

Here's a new geography puzzle. I'm doing better, on this one I got 82% with an error of 43 miles in 289 seconds. Okay, that was my 2nd try, but the first time was 78%. Either way, I'm up from the kindergarten level on the last puzzle.

Sure is hard to place the ones in the middle of the darn midwest with no other state to line 'em up!

First try,

79%, 94miles and 300 seconds.....I was finished before I saw that the states were named...that would have helped alot. Sure was fun.

I had trouble with the New England States. They are so teenie weenie.

I got 200 + miles off for Alaska, because it was the first one and I didn't know how close it had to be to count. Duh.

SECOND try...94%, 6 miles, 208 seconds... I doubt I can do any better than THAT, those middle states are HARD without rivers, etc. Can't line 'em up on the coast and/or border...geesh!
