My mom lost her voice before she was ever diagnosed with SCLC. The ENT said her vocal cord is paralyzed because of the lung tumor pressing on the recurrent laryngeal nerve. I know from perusing this website that other people are in her situation. Would anyone be willing to chime in and let me know what, if anything, they have done about it?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I actually have a different problem, my vocal cord was paralyzed from the surgery I had to remove my lung. I do know that they can repair the cord in this situation.

I am sure that others have had a similiar problem and will chime in and give you some info.

Best wishes,

Wendy
