Posted February 19, 2005 Author Share Posted February 19, 2005 Hi, Maryann, BAC is short for Bronchioloalveolar Carcinoma, a very strange form of cancer and considered a subgroup of Adenocarcinoma. There are various schools of thought on BAC with some folks thinking it isn't BAC unless it's "pure", and others thinking that if there is a BAC component to one's cancer then it's going to behave like BAC. I can imagine how relieved you are that it is a neck problem and not a brain tumor. Hoping therapy can come into the equation and take care of things. Let us know.
