carrie Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Hi Lisa, I had a needle biopsy. they had to go through the backside of my lung since my tumor was so deep. It was no problem at all. They gave me versed (a local anesthesia) which helped tremendously. They just inject the needle and snap a piece off - I didn't feel anything, only heard the snap as it was pretty loud.
