Don M Posted February 23, 2005 Author Share Posted February 23, 2005 Sharon: I wondered about that, and asked the surgeon if I would have to wait 2 days to see if there was cancer. He said no, that they could get a confident answer at the time of the operation. I have heard of situations where a patient is sent to recovery and then a few days later is called back to the operating table because further pathology testing found cancer.
