kimblanchard
Cancer proved to me how completely impotent I am in so many ways. I wish I had come across this song before Becky died. Maybe this is the greatest love song I have ever seen, I Can Love You by Gary Allan: I can't stop your heart from breaking Can't make right mistakes we've made Can't dry your crying eyes For my little angel's sake I can't make the sun keep smiling Or blow away the clouds There's some things in this old world, girl I can't do nothing about But I can love you Like I've always done And when the hard times come a knocking Honey, you won't ever see me running I won't leave you When you need a friend Can't make the bad days that much better Baby, than they've ever been But I can love you Can't hold back the ocean waves Or stop a sinking ship Can't make a mountain move Or tell you how to live But I can love you Like I've always done And when the hard times come a knocking Honey, you won't ever see me running I won't leave you When you need a friend Can't make the bad days that much better Baby, than they've ever been But I can love you I won't leave you When you need a friend Can't make the bad days that much better Baby, than they've ever been But I can love you But I can love you Curtis

MelanieLR
Hi Curtis, Thanks for sharing that. Like I keep saying, sometimes it can be just the littlest sentence I read that may carry me through the day. SMILE... Melanie
KatieB
Thank you Curtis. SOmetimes things are just "known" between a husband and a wife, but it is good to hear and it is good to have reminders of the love that is shared. You may not have found this song back then, but you showed your love in many other ways I'm sure.
