J.C. Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Time for the song That's an Irish Lullaby Over in Killarney, many years ago, Me mother sang a song to me in tones so sweet and low. Just a simple little ditty, in her good Irish way. And I'd give the world if she could sing that song to me this day. Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, too-ra-loo-ra-li. Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, Hush now don't you cry! Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, That's an Irish lullaby. Have a great St.Patrick's Day, With the Irish tears are accepted if they are followed by a smile. Hugs J.C. Quote
Donna G Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 O yes today is a great day for the Irish, and all who become Irish for this day. I thank all my ancestors, the O'Hagan's, the Gilmartins, the Leahy's, the Murphys, the O'Brian's and all I may have missed for my Irish heritage. I thank England for sending Patrick to Ireland. I pray that I keep the Irish twinkle in my eye. Have a wonderful day. Donna G Quote
