terriep Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 My mom (75 years old this past Sat.) had a little episode on Friday where she coughed up blood. Now, you know I had those symptoms for YEARS and when I heard this I really freaked. She went on Sat. for an x-ray, and is waiting to hear from the doctor. PLEASE keep her in your prayers, I am having a really hard time trying to be positive here - you know, I REALLY panicked. It made for a very LONG weekend. Oh, God, I am so scared. Quote

berisa Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I hope your mom would be fine...if you have this symptom, you should get a x-ray check for safe. Keep us posted and my best regards to you & your dear mom. Quote
terriep Posted April 12, 2005 Author Posted April 12, 2005 Thanks everyone. Well, here we go - there was a spot on her lung, she is waiting for the Dr. to call back with an appt. for a CAT scan and an appt. with a pulm. Dr. I really can't believe this is happening again so soon. I was very calm with her - she doesn't handle stress very well - and totally lost it after I hung up the phone. My God, I'm just not ready for this. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Quote
