terriep Posted April 25, 2005 Share Posted April 25, 2005 Mom's visit to the pulm. went as I suspected. She is scheduled for a broncoscope on Wednesday. Of course she's scared and worried. Her pulm. was really nice, but after we met with her we stopped in to my Dr. for a second look. He concurred, but felt pretty sure that what they were looking at was tumor. It is in her left lung, right in the center. I guess after the scope/biopsy we will know where we go from here. Just by coincidence I ran into my onc. today at Staples and kind of told him what was up. He's just so darn nice. Sure hope I won't be seeing him soon with Mom - I'm not scheduled until September, and I'd like to let that be the next uneventful time I see him! Thank you all for your kind words - you will never know how deeply they are appreciated right now. I thank God everyday for each and every one of you.
