A PhD in psychology is also helping with advisors from U of L cancer center (I think). WHY: To offer patients and their families an opportunity to be part of a group of people who are experiencing or have experienced the same trials so that together they can share their stories, strengths and hopes with each other and by doing so, know that they are not alone. WHO: Survivors, Caregivers and Loved Ones. It will be the patient’s choice if they want anyone with them in the meetings. Survivors will facilitate the meetings.
