Hot Diggity!

I met with the urology specialist/surgeon regarding my adrenalectomy yesterday, and after he reviewed all the reports and we talked for a few minutes, he said:

"Well, I've have to get a hold of your oncologist, but I don't see anything here that warrants putting you thru major surgery."

Says that it really hasn't grown enough to speak of, and he wants to take a "watch and see" approach with it (we've been watching it for 2 1/2 years and it hasn't done much!), and do some blood work to set markers and baselines to watch.

THAT'S ALL!

So unless my onocologist points out something he's missing, my panic was unnecessary!

Happy, Happy Day!

Hugs and prayers to all,

SandyS

Sandy,

Your panic was understandable. Believe me, we all do it with every little thing that could mean something is wrong. I'm glad to hear that you don't have to have the surgery. You sound very relieved. Take care and enjoy the rest of the week.

Love,

Peggy

Oh Sandy - such GREAT news.

We all (or if not all, then ALMOST all) get stressed and panicked over every thing that does not seem right. What a weight off your shoulders.

Now, get that SPECIAL guy and have him buy you a FABULOUS dinner tonight! By the way, we all are waiting to hear all about him. Well, if not all - at least I am waiting to hear!!! :) Doesn't he have to pass FAMILY inspection :?:

Happy News! Don't we just hate that panic stage! We can't seem to help it when we hear those words, growth, nodules, change. Thank Goodness when investigated most are "nothing to worry about" Donna G

Sandy,

You tell that oncologist if he tries to say anything to rain on this parade, he will have to answer to all of us. I'm so happy for you. Joining the group for the happy dance . Your smile just lights up the board. Keep it up... Continued prayers coming for a good onc report.

(((Hugs))),

Sue
