ahhappy Posted July 16, 2003 Share Posted July 16, 2003 Can anyone tell me what to expect for my mom. She just met with the dr who said they will be able to get her brain tumors with this procedure. She has three tumors. One is effecting her balance and she has fallen several times and been dropping things and stumbling a lot. Will this procedure "cure" that symptom? Thanks for any info. kimblanchard Posted July 16, 2003 Share Posted July 16, 2003 Hi Amy, My husband had very successful stereotactic radiosurgery. The tumor was almost 3 cm and now is about 5 mm and still shrinking. He was experiencing numbness and tingling in his right arm prior to the surgery and now it has completely disappeared! I pray it will be successful for your mom as well!
