Reaction to meds for shingles??

I KNOW i saw a post about someone reacting to their meds for shingles...mom's having some weird stuff going on and i can't find it again for my life!! Anyone point it out, i'd appreciate it...or if you have heard of bad reactions, please let me know...i'm advising her to NOT take another dose until she talks to her dr...but now i'm curious, too! Thanks so much!

shineladysue wrote recently about her husband's shingles. I think it was only in the last couple of days, under the heading 'no brain mets, but..' so should not be hard to find.

thanks and thanks again...mom told me earlier today she got "weird sick" and we suspect the antiviral she was put on and all we could find were the normal "nausea, vomiting, ect ect"

If she has shingles, trust me, she will know it. They are very painful and not fun to have. They are common with chemo, not everyone gets them.

I surely hope your mom doesn't have shingles. After my gall bladder surgery a few years ago, I was rather run down and stressed out. I developed shingles and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The pain of something as light as a sheet lying lightly on my bare arm was enouth pain to send me to the moon! I know getting meds early in the game is very important! Good luck!
