location of original tumor

I was just wondering where everyones tumor was located. This might be silly but I was just wondering...my dad's was originally in his right lung but it was at the back of the lung. I guess I always pictured tumors to be at the front.

Well, Lucie's lungs were clear (!) at diagnosis. Her main tumor was actually on her upper spine, just across from the top of her left lung. The oncs surmise that the tumor was originally at the top of her left lung and moved over to the neighboring spine. A faint shadow could originally be seen at the top of the left lung.

Mine was tucked up under my collar bone way up in the apex of my right upper lung. Donna G

Mine was in the upper middle of my left lung. Not in front and not in back!

Mine was in the crevasse between my lower and middle lobe of the right lung. The tumor placement was just about dead center from front to back and side to side of the lung.

Mine was in the upper left lobe, high and in the back and on the outside part of the lobe.

mine was in my upper left lobe, nearly equidistant from my back fo my front.

My first one was in middle of left lung in both lobes.The second one was in middle of right lung in center and bottom lobes.The third time it is in my airway (blocking 80% of it)and in the stump where my left lung was removed.
