Larry
Went up to the social security office this morning as the Wife is to recieve her first Disibility Check next month and we were concerned that she might be in violation as she still recieve's her regular check because so many employee's for the state of Kansas have donated what is called shared leave hour's to her (Wife is a State Employee). Well she will get her disibility check's from social security as one still qualifies as long as your not actually working. Wanted to share this info for those who may not realize that you can draw all your vacation , sick leave and bonus hour's earned and still recieve your social security disibility check as long as your not actually working. luvmydog2
Wanted to share this info for those who may not realize that you can draw all your vacation , sick leave and bonus hour's earned and still recieve your social security disibility check as long as your not actually working. I just wanted to add that you can work and make $830 per month and still draw your disability. However the income must be reported to SS. http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/ssa ... _topview=
