To our members in LONDON

Our hearts and prayers and support are with you and your country during this terrible time.

As the breaking news unfolds for us here in the states, Rick and I are worried and wondering about the welfare of our friends who live and work in london and take the tube daily.

We lived and worked in London from the end of 98-2000 and have friends there who we still keep in close touch with.

We are praying everyone we know, and those members here from London, are all ok.

a letter from my friend. The terror attacks may not be over.

Hi,

I am fine and no-one that I know has been involved, although a person in the office was outside one of the stations when a bomb went off. I am working in camden so am a bit stuck as to get home. We are strategising as public transport is all down.

It is a bit difficult to get a clear picture as to exactly what has happened. I just heard reports of someone getting shot and four more devices being found ... but that could just be gossip.

Anyway, hope things are fine with you guys. Give my love to everyone.

Cheers

This is a tragedy that resounds of our 911. I cannot help but think of the widespread confusion, fear, and terror that has been implanted into the minds of the people of England. I am praying that our friends in London are all right too. Be well.

No one we know of yet had been injured, thank goodness.

We are still holding close in our hearts those few members we have here at LCSC from the London area that they and none of their fmaily members were hurt in these attacks.

Hope to hear from them soon.

Having grown up with the subway in Boston, I can picture what this could be like!

This morning at the clinic I was ordering new glasses and I mentioned how horrified I was to hear the news! Turned out the women waiting on me has a Brother who lives just outside of London and frequently goes into the city. She called him not expecting to reach him but he picked up. Said he had just come home early , he was fine . Just yesterday he had been in that very spot. With joy she called all the family to let them know.

I pray for all those people and also for the terrorists that they should see the light and change. Donna G

Dear All

Thanks for your concern and prayers, it is terribly shocking what has happened today. Fortunately my Mum Jennie and my Dad are safe on holiday in Bounemouth by the coast and the rest of my family were not caught up in it. Though of course my thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones today.

Having friends and family in England, I'm just in shock. Those of us who are battling, or caring for someone who is battling, the killer called cancer know how much life means and how senseless all this is. We're waiting to hear from some of our loved ones, although I don't think any of them should have been in central London today. One can't help worrying, however.

Thinking of all the LCHELP members who are there -- keep letting us know how you are faring.

Ellen
