I can't believe this. I have a followup appt. with my pulmonologist today, and I looked at the date - one year ago tomorrow he gave me the bad news - lung cancer. I had to cancel my family's vacation to Williamsburg VA- we were leaving in 5 days -- and see my surgeon. WOW. I am actually NERVOUS about going to see him today - we are due to leave on a brief family trip this Friday! WHAT WAS I THINKING!?? I know things are a lot different now and I thank GOD everyday, but for some reason I can't stop crying! OK, OK, maybe I need to go in there and give him a BIG hug and THANK YOU. Just needed someone to talk to.

Hey Terrie;

First things first! Congrats on being a one year survivor! :D:D:D

If ya feel like ya gotta give em a hug, then do it!! Enjoy your vacation and I would also suggest Don's words of " not borrowing trouble until it comes knocking at your door" :shock:

It's OK to be nervous though, were all human

God bless and be well
