Guest Cheryl Schaefer Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 Well, most of the tests are done. Staying hopeful that they have not changed significantly from a few weeks ago and their thoughts of surgery still holds. Will know more Monday and Tuesday. The funny story, just for a laugh, is that Dick is extremely claustraphobic. He told them as they were doing a hour long PET type scan. They gave him something to make him relax. After an hour, they were shaking him awake. He slept through the whole ordeal and didn't realize they had started. Glad he got through it. Will keep you posted. russell Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 Cheryl I hope you find help at MD Anderson. You are at the best place in the world for cancer. I took my wife Alice there last month for a second opinion for her 4th stage nsclc. We stayed at the Rotary house across the street. Best of luck and hope Russell Quote
