Carcinoid lung tumor

The sister to one best friend just got her final dx.

Lung carcinoid cancer. I guess these tumors are slow-growing and chemo does very little to them.

Any members here with this kind of lc? They live in MT so I don't know how they would do if there were a clinical trial. If it were me, I would be interested though.

She gets an injection of some kind once a month to slow the progression. She has been very tired.

First time I have heard of this cancer. But, you know how it is, if you're not looking for something, often you won't see it. Now, I am looking.
