:D

We looked at the x-ray together and it was obvious the original tumor is just a loosely defined little

whisp! Can't see much else in either lung!

WHOO... Wait! It gets better!

The doctor actually slapped his thigh and laughed

when he read the radiologist's report of Friday's x-

ray. He said, "You've got to have a copy of this"

(I just love him!)and gave me one. It said, "PA and

lateral views show no obvious nodules or masses at

this time. The lungs appear clear and no pleural

fluid is seen. Impression: Negative chest"

Whoo... Not yet! It get's even better!

Dr. Witta said we'll do a CT scan next month and if

things still look this good, I only have to go up to

see him every other month! Okay now!

WOOOOHOOOO!!!

Mark and I were so happy! (DUH :D )

This is a GOOD day for me! I pray it's been a good

day for all of you, too!

Thank you so much! It means so much to me to share the ups and downs with all of you!

Kasey - it's not remission, unfortunately. I think it means the Iressa and Tarceva stopped the cancer's growth and spread for 7 months and now it is actually reducing what was there to just small, almost invisible groups of cells. Which may stay at this level, shrink further, or grow depending on how I continue to respond to Tarceva. I hope it kills even more cancer cells, but I'll more than gladly accept being stable and asymptomatic!

This is some of the best news I have heard all day. I'm sure your positive attitude has alot to do with your success. I am so happy for you and will pray for your continued success with treatment.
