patut
Today I light a candle for my Tim who left me 9 months ago in December. I still visit him most every day at the cemetery and it still feels so right. To celebrate his birthday our four little grandaughters and their Mom and I went over and sang "Happy Birthday to Grampa" to him. I think it's our way of helping them to remember him. A new tradition for our family. Cyndy

LynneH
Cyndy, what a difficult day this must be. It is wonderful that your grandchildren are helping to keep his memory alive. What a lovely tradition. Lynne
Ann
I know how hard yesterday must have been for you. I'm sure you had a variety of emotions all happening at once. I know there were a lot of good memories running through your head and at the same time dealing with the grief and sadness of missing him. I think singing Happy Birthday was a wonderful thing to do! I'm sure those wonderful grandchildren will do this for many years to come. That was a very special thing to do and I'm sure it made Tim smile!
