Dick underwent a diagnostic surgery to determine if the cancer was in the mid section, close to his heart. The tests here - PET and CAT so indicated. They actually went in and biopsied the tissues. Thank God, they were NOT cancerous, making his chances for surgery all the more possible. All of the drs. and tests done will be reviewed tonight and we meet with the head man tomorrow to lay out the course of treatment. So very different than what we learned here. Just had to share some more good news. Amazing the difference a week makes in the outlook of things.
