sophia88
Dad is done with the radiation (hopefully) for the spots on his spine on Tuesday. He has been really wiped the last two days. But he insists on cutting my grass (always loved to cut grass!) with the riding mower and pushing himself to the limit. He decided to entertain company at my house last night. So we grilled and ate delicious Gobs!! (While he is putting on needed weight, I am starting to develop a waddle!!) I wish I had his fortitude. PLEASE pray the tests come back with good news in August. Dad has been fighting so darn hard. He so wants to go to St. Louis for his Naval reunion in September and see his friends again in Florida. (He came home to Pittsburgh for treatment due to his insurance.) He is blessed with a wonderful wife (my stepMom). She is a jewel. Please pray for her also...she never, ever says one negative word about anything. You guys are all terrific and I want you to know your sharing has helped me be a better daughter to Dad and to stay the course. Bless all of you!!! I thank you for your prayers!! Terrie
Sophia- I will be more than happy to keep your dad in my prayers for great test results! Sounds like he is quite a guy - cutting your grass, even!! I think your step-mom sounds great, too! Where in Pgh. are you, as I am near Cranberry Twp.? Which hosp. in Pgh. did he go to? I was at AGH. God bless you all as you do the "waiting dance" - hopefully, to be followed with the "dance of joy"!!!! Terrie
