berisa
hello. I am reading a best-selling book "The five people you meet in heaven", i read half already and love it very much. Got some comforts about dad's death and grabbed some inspirations from this book about life. I think you may love it too. Gotta go for continuing the reading!! Treebywater
I *Just* started reading that one! We'll have to swap notes sometime. I also wanted to say that the picture of your Dad at the bottom of your posts makes me smile *EVERY* time. I can see why he was and is so special to you. Anais
Who is the author? Thanks
Nancy B
Yes, that was a great book. I just finished The Two Doors of Heaven by John Bolin. WOW! It is a very short book and large print - very easy reading, but, boy, what a message. I love to get book recommendations - love to read. Thanks Nancy B
rmm17
The book is by Mitch Albom (sp?). He's a great author. He also wrote Tuesdays with Morrie, which i highly recommend. It accounts his last months visiting with his old professor that is suffering from ALS. Its offers great insight on life and death from the perspective of a dying man. Don Wood
Yes, the bookis by Mitch Albom. I read it and enjoyed it, especially since I believe people in our lives, even casually, are part of the master plan. Don

dchurchi
I have read both books, The Five People you Meet in Heaven and Tuesday's With Morrie and I highly recommend them. They are not very long so for you non-readers they are worth the effort. Debbie Husband Alan DX small cell lung cancer Jan 10th 2005

Ry
Mitch Albom does a radio show daily out of Detroit(3-6 pm here). It goes all over the U.S. so you can check to see if it comes to your area. The Five People You Meet in Heaven is also a movie but I am not sure it is available to rent yet.
