I live in Indiana. So far i have not heard or read or seen of anything being planned this month for LCAM. I've spent the morning sending e-mails to a few of the local tv stations and newspapers, but was wondering what else i can do to get this subject out there. Any Ideas? It makes me crazy that last month there was pink EVERYWHERE and its like us whose lives have been disrupted with lung cancer don't even exist. So can anyone help? Any suggestions?

Have you tried getting your local hospital involved? Talk to the respiratory dept. in a major hospital in your town, maybe they will be willing to help you out. Cancer is the number one killer now and hospitals are, finally, starting to see this.

that is a great idea.

One of the local tv stations did a presentation after Peter Jennings died from lc.

They interviewed my thoracic surgeon in his medical office who talked about the devastation of lung cancer. He is a patient advocate. Also, one of his patients was interviewed who was experiencing a recurrence of disease.

Good luck!
