We appreciate your interest and concern for those dealing with this devastating disease. We have issued a proclamation naming November "Lung Cancer Awareness Month" and sent it to the Oklahoma Lung Association, 3160 W Britton Road, Suite E, Oklahoma City. My mom was asking the cancer treatment center (of America) the other day if they were going to do something this month for lung cancer. They told her they didn't have anything planned because they tried in the past and didn't have a good response because of the terrible stigma attached to it. How sad is this?? It makes me ill.
