luvmydog2 Posted August 8, 2003 Share Posted August 8, 2003 I had one lung removed on June 17, 2003. Prior to that I had 6 Chemo treatments and 25 Radiation Treatments. The Dr's told me after the surgery they were surprised to my response to treatment. I saw my Radiation Dr Monday and he said that my other doctors along wit hisself were remarkablely pleased. They said what they had set out to accomplish was accomplished. He released me. I saw surgeon today and he told me he was extremily pleased. He gave me clearance to return to work. Reports say ALL cancer was removed. I hope I am not sounding like I am bragging or anything but just wanted everyone to know there is HOPE for this monster disease. I know it can return on me but I will not even think about that till if and when it does. I will be praying for each and every one of you and ask that you do the same for me.
