dadstimeon Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Hi and Welcome, I use B-6 for my neuropathy but I get more of a numbness & tingling feeling--not pain, but does help. Might want to ask your doctor. Also here is a good site with lots of info if you do not already know about it. Hope this helps. Donna G Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I hear that helps. I have Neuropathy mostly in my feet. I don't need any med. I was falling down when I first noticed it during chemo. Missed the last chemo because of it. Once I stopped chemo it started getting better but mine never completely healed. Now my feet are just very fussy. They like the same shoes, no changes. They REALLY complain if I have a grain of sand in my shoe, feels like a piece of glass! No more bare feet! On the whole though it is not a big problem now. Do hope your nerves heal back to normal. Best Wishes. Donna G Quote
Leslie221 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Welcome. No experience with the problem yet, but just wanted to welcome you. Leslie Quote
Maryanne Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 One of the members here said she took 500 mg of B6 and 1000 mgs of B12. This has also help Joel. Maryanne Quote
shineladysue Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I would like to welcome you to our site. As for the neuropathy, Mike has taken the B vitamins mentioned. It seemed to help somewhat , but his is more of a numbing or tingling in the fingertips and toes. As he has gotten away from the treatments that caused them it has become better. Hope that you will fill in your profile and post more about yourself so that we will be better able to help you. sue Quote
