lilyjohn
What important lesson did you learn in 2005? Sense I have to leave for work in a few minutes I will start this one out. I learned that the best way to make myself feel better is to help someone else. Going along with that I have learned that not only is a hug universal language but it can often reach those who seem to be unreachable. hollyanne
I have learned that the phrase "taking it one day at a time" is not a trite Hallmark quip, but a real way of living your life especially when confronted by crisis and the unknown. kamataca
We have to take care of ourselves if we are to be helpful to others. Being a martry might gain you sainthood, but only after your death. Who wants that? Oh, and laughter and prayers truly are the best medicine. Even our onc. agrees! Kelly

dchurchi
Not that I ever took life for granted, but I will never take life for granted. With Alan's dignosis this year and young Rianna's sudden death just before Christmas at the age of 16, I really learned how fragile life is. I will enjoy every moment possible in 2006
