What important lesson did you learn in 2005?

Sense I have to leave for work in a few minutes I will start this one out.

I learned that the best way to make myself feel better is to help someone else. Going along with that I have learned that not only is a hug universal language but it can often reach those who seem to be unreachable.

I have learned that the phrase "taking it one day at a time" is not a trite Hallmark quip, but a real way of living your life especially when confronted by crisis and the unknown.

We have to take care of ourselves if we are to be helpful to others. Being a martry might gain you sainthood, but only after your death. Who wants that? Oh, and laughter and prayers truly are the best medicine. Even our onc. agrees!

Not that I ever took life for granted,

but I will never take life for granted.

With Alan's dignosis this year and young

Rianna's sudden death just before Christmas at

the age of 16, I really learned how fragile

life is.

I will enjoy every moment possible in 2006
