bethluvswill13 Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 Hi, I posted this on ask the experts...Im waiting their response. I was wondering if you guys could answer any questions. My dad has had 38 treatments of radiation after 30 he was told they would do boost treaments. I didn't understand the doctors definition of this. So, I went back and spoke with him the next day and I gathered this was a smaller area for the target. I went on to ask several questions which I felt were beaten all around the bush. Well, here goes nothing. Is this treatment stronger than regular radiation? Will this be more painful for my dad due to side effects? How come its necessary?
