You read in your local newspaper that a new ordinance is under consideration. You are highly opposed to this new ordinance. Do you get involved and voice your opinion or sit quietly and allow it to become law?

If it was something very important to me I think I can safely say I would voice my opinion, write the media, phone in, join a protest and attend a city counsel meeting. Maybe even create a website that draws attention to the injustices........

I'm there voicing my opinion. I have been to so many township and city meetings in this area they hate to see me coming. Before John's diagnosis I was the secretary for our lake association and had to go to lots of meetings concerning things that would impact our lake.

I would be right there...jumping in with both feet! My middle son is mentally challenged. Years ago, I learned that I had to "fight" the system to always see that his educational needs were met. I learned that one person CAN make a difference. So glad to see we have so many strong voices among us!!!
