kamataca Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 A year ago (next week) Bev was diagnosed. The dr. gave us the "12 mo. to live" statistics, and we reeled for weeks. The outlook seemed so grim. Today, a relatively healthy and spunky Bev sat and watched her two grandchildren perform in their school talent show. Tay sang "Do You Believe in Magic?" and Chris crooned "Fishin' in the Dark." Grandma was there, tapping her foot, and receiving congratulatory remarks from her friends (well, of course my kids were FABULOUS!). The point is, it's a year later, and she was on her oxygen, but she is still LIVING her life, and getting to enjoy the "little things" that mean so very much. It wasn't until I got home that I realized what a little miracle this was. Yep, I believe in magic! Kelly Quote
