I know when my dad was sick, there wasn't anything I wouldn't do, go or buy for him. During his illness we celebrated a birthday, a christmas, Valentines Day, Easter and Father's Day.....and at each occasion I spent hours thinking of just the right gift.....

What do you give someone that doesn't "need" anything, never "wanted" for anything, and was too sick to "do" anything...?

I found the beautiful certified document in daddy's study yesterday and it reminded me of the wonderful memory of that gift and the day I gave it to him. He has a star named just for him...that will look down on us forever.

My boyfriend got me one when I turned 19...almost 10 years. We are still together and we are getting married in October of this year! It was the sweetest gift ever!

Katie, this truly is a beautiful gift. Dennis was given a star for his 50th birthday. He always thought that was such a neat gift. I would definitely recommend this as a very thoughtful and loving Valentine gift.
