Two months ago I went for a barium swallow and they instead found a tumor on my upper right lung. I have had several tests but so far have not been able to confirm cancer. My last trip was to a surgeon who says he is 95 percent sure it is cancer. On the 24 of this month (may06) I am to have my upper right lobe removed. I have not shared with anyone outside of family and have tried to keep the "stiff upper lip" for them so I have had no one to talk to about this. I have not had a second opinion, I am staying here in my hometown, which is a small area, for the operation. The doctor said he cannot tell me much more until he is in there and I am really very uneasy. I am not so much uneasy with my care here but because I don't know what to expect. Thanks for any guidance or info. on this.
