introducing myself

I am a 56 year old 4 year lung cancer survivor. I have just found your site. The news about Dana Reeve has been hard for me. I fear the cancer coming back. They removed 2 lobes of my right lung, having found my cancer in the very early stage. I know I was lucky. It is good to be able to hear other stories of survival.

Welcome and congrats on the 4 years!

I know how you feel about being afraid - even though I know that I was lucky to have been caught early - I still have days sometimes where my fears threaten to swallow me whole. As you know, it gets easier as time goes on but it doesn't take much to trigger anxieties.

I'm glad you found us and hope you keep posting!!

Welcome and may I say thank you for your 4 years of survival. My mom was recently diagnosed nsclc and I am pretty new to all of this myself as a caregiver: folks like you are an inspiration to folks like me and I look forward to getting to know you better and learning from you in here.

Linda
