need some resources

Hi Everyone,

Today, my best friend's mom was told she has lung cancer. Her mom does not have insurance. She does not have financial resources either for this. Where can I go to find grants, medical relief? What can she do to make sure she gets the proper treatment and has the resources to pay for them?

You might want to check in on seeing if she is elgible for medicade. If you not familiar with it ,it is a State run program funded by the federal Goverment. From what little info you gave it sound's like she should qualify....
