SSF Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 hi, Tim's nose would bleed, and still does - the oncologist said it was partly due to loss of nose hair, so all the "stuff" that is usually blocked by the hairs is going in. Tim's also had a procuedure done by an ENT (ear/nose/throat specialist) that sealed the open places in his nose. I don't know/understand the particulars, but if you're interested I'll get the specifics. He was an assistant to the surgeons before his diagnosis, so he was confident with having them do it. Let me know if you need particulars Sandra Quote
Don Wood Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Lucie had swelling of the legs on Taxotere. She took Lasix which helped. Don Quote

MnMom Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 A suggestion would be to try and elevate your feet for a short period every hour if you can...this helps to keep the fluids from pooling in the legs as much. I hope it helps! Quote
