hi,

Tim's nose would bleed, and still does - the oncologist said it was partly due to loss of nose hair, so all the "stuff" that is usually blocked by the hairs is going in. Tim's also had a procuedure done by an ENT (ear/nose/throat specialist) that sealed the open places in his nose. I don't know/understand the particulars, but if you're interested I'll get the specifics. He was an assistant to the surgeons before his diagnosis, so he was confident with having them do it.
