Degten Posted April 4, 2006 Share Posted April 4, 2006 Hi. I'm DeDe. I have been lurking for a while. What a terrific site. My 77 y/o Dad was diagnosed with extensive SCLC in July 05. After 6 rounds of EP and a partial response, the tumour began to grow again in December '06. He has been on CAV since January '06 (x6) with his last dose today and has tolerated the CAV pretty well. He really is an amazing man, helping look after my frail mother and his 82 y/o sister who just had a series of strokes and his attitude to life is just great. However, he started coughing up blood again on Saturday. He remains quite upbeat but I am so worried about him.
