Maryanne Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I saw this poem in Jennis (jacwork) guestbook and I thought I would like to share it with you all. "Come To Me" God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. I think that is beautiful. Maryanne Quote
Dreamweaver Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 This is a poem I have read many times.. But recently had forgotten. Do you know who the author is? It really is beautiful.. yet sad in some ways too. Melanie Quote

J.C. Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 God's garden must be beautiful, God looked around His garden and found an empty place. Then He looked down upon the earth and saw your tired lovely face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest, He knew you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids, and wispered ''Come with me You do not deserved What you went through,'' So He gave you rest in His garden, For he only takes the best. When I saw you sleeping So peacefully and free from pain. I could not wish you back To go through that again. It broke my heart, to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of me went with you, The day God called you home. Hugs to all Jackie Quote
