ZURICH (Reuters) - Switzerland's Roche (ROG.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) filed its Avastin cancer drug in the United States for treatment of non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer, the most common form of the disease, the drug-maker said on Wednesday.

"Avastin is the first and only treatment in more than a decade to have shown a survival benefit in this patient population," Roche said.

Roche produces Avastin together with its majority-owned U.S. biotech arm Genentech Inc (DNA.N: Quote, Profile, Research).

I believe that will benefit a lot of people here If I read it the right way!!!
