Maryanne Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Hi Lori, Just came by your post. How frustrating!!! It just baffles my mind that they could be so inconsiderate. We had hospice for my MIL 5 years ago, My MIL has Alzheimer’s. They would come in a couple of times a week and bathe her, check her meds. They were not called in because my MIL was dying they just came to help out. She has been in a nursing home for 4 years now. But I just wanted to bring out, they should help you out. It certainly would not hurt to call around different ones and tell them your situation and see what they have to offer. Even if they could come and give her a shower that would help you. I had a feeling your brother was your FIL son as he always seemed to be sticking up for him. Now I know why. But he is a scoundrel for the way he his acting.
