Guest Cheryl Schaefer Posted August 30, 2003 Posted August 30, 2003 Well, Dick just finished his second round of chemo. After his first round of chemo, the Dr. advised that there had been a 35-40% shrinkage in the tumor. Seems like the chemo is working and those %'s sounded good to me. He has tolerated the chemo I think fairly well. Fatigue, flu-like symptoms, hair loss, etc. but his appetite is good and he is keeping his weight (and his spirits up). Scheduled for surgery at MD Anderson mid-September. Thanks for everyone's support and encouragement. Will keep you posted. Aloha, Cheryl Quote
