teresag
Keith is so lucky to have an advocate like you, Carleen. Best wishes to you both for pain relief, peace and recovery. You might ask if there is a pain consultant (most hospitals have them, some are teams, some are individual physicians or nurse specialists.) Keith's situation is undoubtedly special and he deserves pain relief. Prayers, Teresa

KarHart
Carleen, what an amazing surgery, that had to be scary! Ken had a lot of pain after his liver surgery. One of the nurses suggested a pain reliever that was not a narcotic, it was a "super Advil" as she called it. It really did the trick, in fact when Ken saw her the next day he said "I'll take a gallon of that". We could not get a RX for it, it is only given in the hospital and I think limited to 5 days. I am sorry I can't remember the name of it. I hope Keith gets relief soon and really good results. Prayers still coming. Karen H
teresag
Karen, Was it Toradol (ketorolac)?

ginnyde
Carleen, great news about the surgery. There must be someway to alleviate Keith's pain. Hoping for the best.
cindi o'h
Carleen I bet it was Toradol. I had that for belly pain (gall bladder inflammation) and it worked wonders when no amount of narcotic would. So glad there were no complications for Keith. We continue to pray for you and Keith. (by the way, you had the cutest typo...you said you went home to "feel" your pets! isn't that cute?) love, Cindi o'h
