Either way, can't lose. Though, I love Nevis' Big Sandy for fishing. And Big Sand for skiing. (usta anyway) Have a wonderful vacation. Donna G Posted June 25, 2006 Author Share Posted June 25, 2006 I'm back! Boy was it gorgeous. My husband just put his line in the water and got a bite. It was a Walleye ( catch and release) several minutes later he felt a tug on the line and he pulled out a Northern! Our dogs thought being on Big Sandy was great, run out the door and jump in the lake. They had lots of fun. It was so nice. The only sounds were the loons, the birds, the breeze through the leaves on the trees. We went to Savannah State park, just a few miles up the road and hiked around one of the lakes there.
