I am so, so sorry to read your post. I cannot imagine how gutwrenching this must be for you. Please know you have come to an amazing place. I don't know anything about NSCLC, but it sounds oddly like the husband of a friend I have from this site, Carleen. I will PM her and have her get ahold of you. Her husband was so young also, but it was a rare, rare cancer. So...

In the meantime, my prayers go out to you and Tiff. May God grant you peace, hope, and strength.

I am so very sorry that you lost your daughter so quickly. As far as age - I don't think cancer knows any boundaries. My husband is 42 and was diagnosed in October 2006 with nscl cancer. His cousin died last new years at the age of 41 with small cell and non small cell - and a friend of ours died two years ago at the age of 40. That is 3 people in my little world in their 40's. The statistics would be interesting to know.
