Guest Cheryl Schaefer
Dick just finished his second round of Chemo. Yesterday, he had pain on his left side, rather sharp. It went away last night and is back again today. I felt around and don't feel anything. He says he thinks it's a muscle but I'm concerned that it is on the same side as his LC (left). If it doen't go away tomoroow, we'll go have it checked out but I'm concerned it may be some sort of spread. Any thoughts? Thanks - I'm concerned. norme
Cheryl, Did he do anything to cause pain, stretch, etc or did it just come on. We all get on edge when something different happens. Maybe it is just what he said but it would be wise to check it out...
Candy
I agree with Norme - everything that you even THINK might be something should be checked. That said, Hugh had pain on his left side right around his rib cage for well over 2 weeks. It was the same side as his cancer and it went away. We never found out exactly what had caused it. We had started treatment already and he was feeling much better by the time the pain appeared.
