cindi o'h
So many times our members (including myself) get stumped with the abbreviations that our medicals use in the progress notes/reports. I found a great site. See if you all think that this would be a worthy site to keep at a finger's click away. I always wondered on Thursday nights, what Dr. Mark Green of ER meant by a gomer in curtain 3....! I looked it up. Now I got a laugh. http://medilexicon.com/ Cindi o'h
Connie B
I think it's a great site. Would you like this to be a Sticky? I think it should be! Don't we have something somewhere regarding Abbreviations on the board???
Welthy
Tony and I have been using the "gomer" term for years. Especially down in Florida. We call drivers down there "gomers", "gomer wanna be's" and "gomers in training". Anyone who has driven in Florida will know what I mean. We DO say it in a nice way though -- because Tony is getting to the gomer stage of life too!
