Nushka Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 Today is exactly three years since I had my last radiation treatment. My oncologist says this is a big milestone. We plan to celebrate with a glass of wine. Three years without treatment feels mighty good, but I sure wish I had a CT/PET today to make sure it is all still gone. Just my security blanket has been 6 month tests and that is no more. I know that I would not be here today without all of your prayers and support, so thanks to all of you. I wouldn't worry about not having the scans, but if for some reason to start to not feel well, get your butt in there and insist on it.. In the meantime, enjoy the wine and have one for me..
