RandyW Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 Antisoma says in talks with potential licensing partners for cancer drug LONDON (AFX) - Cancer drug developer Antisoma PLC said it is in discussions with several potential licensing partners for its drug AS1404. The firm said phase II (proof of concept) clinical trials are now fully recruited, and that final-phase trials in lung cancer are being prepared. Chief executive Glyn Edwards said: 'There are few phase III oncology products available for licensing with strong data from controlled phase II studies, so it's not surprising that we've seen a high level of interest in AS1404.
