Andrea Posted August 30, 2006 Author Share Posted August 30, 2006 The initial biopsy showed no cancer cells, but we have to wait to final path.....and even then cancer is not ruled out until they figure out the cause of the multiple nodules. They took 6 vials of blood to test for different organisms and they sent the tissue out for cultures. If all is negative, next step is bronchoscopy. I will just pray that it is negative as well and that way no more biopsies. As for the hatchlings...how are you feeling? Did the doctor ever let you know if you can take a xanax? If it were me I would want one as well. Try to take care of yourself. Let us know as soon as you know about the PET. I know you will. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for all of you.
